In many cases, prepared food offerings are far better and tastier than what customers expect. However, the channel continues to face perception challenges, often shaped by disappointing past experiences. The good news is that those perceptions can be changed.

The latest study from the NACS Coca‑Cola Retailing Research Council examines practical steps convenience retailers can take to build customer trust, drive trial and increase sales. Many of the recommended actions are simple, achievable and designed to deliver meaningful results. The Council will premiere these new findings in a presentation on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at this year's NACS Show.

The session will provide an overview of the study's key findings, highlighting both emerging challenges and significant opportunities for the channel.

Attendees will also hear insights from two council members: Tom Brennan of Casey's General Stores and Ryan Sheetz of Sheetz. In addition we will showcase tools included in the study that can help convenience store operators of all sizes to customize and apply the findings for their own businesses.

Please join us for this session on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 9 a.m. in Ballroom A at the NACS Show.
